She was born and raised and started her career in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, performing in multiple venues and recording studios. At 17 years old, she started working with Ike & Tina Turner & their sons, touring globally Opening for BB King & Chaka Kahn. Denise appeared on X-Factor 2012.
